>>2061749I'm not saying a heavier pack is better. A down underquilt, lighter tarp/hammock, down quilts for different weather instead of just one 20f one year round would all be welcome. I just can't justify the price for saving 5lbs. Different users and use cases. I'm not usually trying to crush a 100 mile hike in weekend

>hike 11 miles and camp at lake >pack up and hike climb over saddle into another drainage>hike 8 miles between lakes to fish them before camping at the last one>hike back 5 miles cross saddle, then hike 11 back to trailhead
