From a personal standpoint we're fucked. A simple major power outage would send major cities into ape mode. A disease, or if old faithful esplodes etc could really change life. But I don't think we're going to be extinct. Especially when some creeps on this board are replying from diy septic tank bunkers with 3 years of supplies.
