The zippers. They're all YKK reverse zippers. Reverse meaning that the loopy plastic cable stuff faces inside and the fabric backing faces outside. This is a small detail that offers a lot of obvious advantages. It makes the zippers look much nicer while also making them quieter and making it harder for the zipper to get full of dirt and sand and shit. Reverse zippers are pretty much becoming the standard for backpacks like this, it would be stupid not to use them.
The zipper pulls are made from gutted 550 cord and heat shrink. They're quite nice.
