This one I'm having a harder time on, though I think it might be an immature Leucocoprinus fragilissimus. Wasn't more than a centimeter or 2 in diameter, appeared to be growing out of the ground, though could always have been a root under the surface or something. Very striking yellow color though, which is what caught my eye despite its small size. Central North Carolina, by the way, if anyone else wants to take a stab at ID.
