>>13488 So here's the axehead as it is currently. Can't really see too much of the brown in this pic. I'm working on a larger version of this image to get the stencil down. Friend of mine got a good patina out of vinegar and mustard but I'm going a less organic route -especially with the bluing stage, since I'm not sure about the sealing with all the surface activity. I'll likely be using some rubbing alcohol as a thinner/vehicle so it'll dry faster and have less of a chance to seep through the edges.
