>>2338835It's perfect for what I enjoy. I've had it in some pretty rough spots, but it can handle its own very well. It's not going to win any races either. It's pretty sluggish, but well tempered. I only got tumped once while I wasn't paying attention, and had my arms full with gear, and that was pre-chair, when I had a kayak seat strapped flat to the board. When I felt it going, I rolled off so the board wouldn't flip and hopped back on. Most of the time the water washes right over, but I was just not being smart this one time and I paid for it. Something about being that low is actually more unbalanced than being raised up on it. It is a SUP after all. The width also plays a role in it being balanced despite it being short. I have a 10 foot fishing kayak as well, but I can barely balance when I try to stand on it. It also feels way more tippy, even on calm waters. I'm working out a ballast plan for that one, but this one is always my main project.
