>>2058117Just got back from the Grand Canyon last week, and your pic is true for the rim and the first mile of the trails. Fortunately, the first few ice-covered switchbacks filtered out most of the other tourists. I was able to have a nice serene lunch behind a boulder at 3 mile point. I'm sure in the summer it's WAY more crowded, but going to parks in the 'off' season is the best way to go, I've found.
