It's more of a hassle than anything. It's cute but that's about it. To make a functional one you need to make it quite big, modify it so that you have a smoke/air outlet, constantly (I mean constantly) feed it with tiny itty bitty pieces of wood and you will still have to carry around a smelly smokey tarry little trashcan with you once you're done.
I really like the idea, but the only case where I think it can be functional is if you make a large one (trash can sized) and kind of use it for a group of people
