On Lower Red Lake fishing was extended to April 4th, so im planning on hitting the lake. The ice is still 17 inches thick, but due to "honeycombing" and rotting ice spots, cars, trucks and ATV's are advised to stay clear off the lake. Only foot traffic is recommended.
Pic is a friend of mine who landed a march madness walleye. Not sure of what the exact measurements and weight, but it's a trophy out of red for sure.
