>>2326893Here's the great Con of Straya.
1, less guns. Not no guns but less. Can be done but it's hassle and money.
2, if you want temperate shit, most of the good shit like that is elsewhere. That's fine, leave that to cooler places like Finland, North America and shit like that.
What we do that's okay is when you start to dig a little deeper. The population is nothing. With this comes massive zones of places that frankly, you can do anything. Like get away with murder anything. That is all the benefits and problems you can gather in one place in a single statement. While most of Straya is in fact arid, that does not mean all sandpit shit.
Rainforests, Melaleuca Forests, Mangroves, Eucalypt ranges, Casuarina clusters, Acacia bush woods and yes, even Callitris Forests. So yes, conifers. There are savannahs, rainforest, the temperate souths, an island which has plenty of native mountain ash and lord of the rings tier woods (The Tarkine for example) and that is purely the woods not all the middle and transitionary biomes. You don't get epic sizes you get epic expanses of small but barely touched shit. And frankly given how a lot of people respond to this thread you can see how many just flat out miss out. That's on them though. This is one of the few nations on earth that has such a city bound population and it has spared a lot of the good shit. People are protective of it as well, If you visit, do yourself a favour and go hunting specifically. You might want to consider June to July for cooler weather too.
