>>1602609Hey, good job! I'm very happy for you. And speaking of which, it's time for the weekly update. Image dump incoming.
We are at week 6 and hoooooly shit. Literally taking up just about half the garden area. This is 9 pumpkin plants. I've literally run out of space to step reliably and safely and I'm constantly in fear of stepping on the fragile vines, which I've already done several times now. At first I was freaking out because I thought I had mortally wounded the plant, but then I realized that now that fruit set is officially a go (and I will show the specifically confirmed pollinated and growing fruits), The vines will need to be trimmed back for better fruit growing efficiency.
I'm kind of worried about this considering I've never done it before and I'm probably going to fuck something up, I've already fucked some shit up, actually, but some advice would be greatly appreciated.
I also switched from watering twice a day to just once a day now since before I was watering over head and getting a greater area. Since flowers have been blooming, however, I've been using a watering bucket to dump directly into the soil. Since there's so many leaves now, combined with the fact that it's not as hot anymore, I figure enough moisture is being retained in the soil that once a day is plenty enough. And also because I don't want to damage the flowers in the morning.
