I'm buying a house next year, and thinking about designing a fully edible backyard. I think it would be cool to include a perforated stream and pond for edible fish and continuous fertilizer.
Do you keep them outdoors? How do you keep your water cool in the summer? How deep do I dig?
Perforation may be a pipe dream, but an artificial water feature would be cool as shit. And I want to secretly reintroduce trout to the nearest lake, if I get as far as spawning.
