I was in my local camera shop one day with my Pentax and the guy who runs the place spotted it and told me it's the most underrated digital camera on the market. He was a tech at Nikon for 25 years and he said the day he retired he bought himself a K-50 and never looked back.
They're amazing cameras in all depts (except maybe video but lolvideo). My brother initially tried to dissuade me from Pentax saying "you won't have as many options for glass as you do with Canon" but fuck, there are wwwway more Pentax and Pentax-compatible lenses out there than I would ever want or need.
