Regulations and planning has been a complete ball ache. Need permits for everything, and the bushfire regulations in Aus make building in places like this really expensive, and limit your options a lot.
Will live here and do some landscaping, then would like to sell and go full Ted K mode and move to the mountains in Tasmania, or possibly somewhere in Europe as an Italian citizen. Portugal or the North West Coast of Italy have nice weather, but imagine the beauracry is even worse there.
