Aside from the Landcruiser troop carrier, possibly a Subaru Brumby for a short/self sustaining expedition. For such a small car with 4WD these things can go anywhere it's bigger counterparts can (with a lift kit), and they're tough as nails. A coworker somehow rolled his onto it's side on a dirt road one night and all it suffered was a broken side mirror and a small crack in the windscreen.
