As mentioned this is on a largish island (70 acres family owned), its a 20 minute boat ride, a less then ideal rocky landing spot, and a 5 minute walk to the camp spot from our main camp. I'll get the chain saw out their eventually but when I do I want to bring the ropes and blocks with it. Plan on moving some logs around and make some basic structures, like a tent platform or lean to, maybe a little tool shed with a water proof roof, and some benches around the fire pit.
But first I want to make a little landing beach and smooth out the path a bit with gravel/sand I'm digging up from a near by cove. Found this spot last summer, been making plans all winter, and now I have 2 weeks left up here this summer to work on them till next year.
