I’m contemplating picking up /out/ photography just as a fun hobby, looking at getting my first camera pretty soon. Any suggestions for website that break down the basics or what to look for? Live in Eastern WA and it’s amazing country, and I’ve been hiking and snowshoeing a lot over the past few years. Preferably something that won’t destroy my wallet but also is durable enough to take on a two day trek and not constantly worry about smashing it.
