>>1492387Here's another picture of that box to give you a better idea of spacing before the plants all grew out of control and exceeded my expectations. The marigold, basil, and tomatoes are easily identifiable. On the far left is Borage which produces blue flowers that bees go C-R-A-Z-Y for because they like the colour blue and are attracted to it. So many bees came in the summer that I had to wait until the evening or harvest at night since I'm allergic to bees. The blue flowers are also edible and go great in salads. You can get them in a mixed Burpee herb seed pack... I can't remember which one but you get a mix of 4-5 herb seeds in there and the Borage seeds are easily identifiable so you know which ones to separate from the pack and plant.
Those PVC water tents (you can see the blue one in my picture) are also great to provide insulation for new plantings if you live in an area where it gets cold, but be sure to remove them (safely) before the plant gets too big or else it'll resist the plants growth and potentially choke it.
