>cooler weather>time for wild onion top harvesting!I'm nearly out of last season's powdered onion tops. I'm loading up on them again this season. The dehydrator is as full as I can get it, but I couldn't squeeze in the last shelf. If there's enough onion tops I made do two turns in the dehydrator. I'm not sure it will get done before I need to do a batch of tomatillos in the dehydrator. Hopefully, it won't rain until Thursday. This stuff makes soups and stews so delicious, even the quick ramen soups.
>pic fully relatedThe best times to get these is in the spring before the grass pops up and a few weeks after your last lawn mowing for the fall season.
