>>2200483It probably depends on the bait. If you’re using offset worm hooks on soft baits, you might be able to try a 3/0 EWG offset hook and have better luck.
Although if 5/0 works well on that soft bait, LMB’s have giant mouths so it’s not a big deal. But if the fish feels that big metal 5/0 hook before you can set it, they will probably spit it out. If they only taste/feel the bait and not the hook, they will hang onto it
