Do it yourself, way easier, cheaper, and better tasting. I know others have said it but beef jerky is stupid easy to make, so are dried berries and fruits, you can make a rudimentary biscuit mix that just needs water, potted meats are easy enough to make with some butter, meat, and a jar, granola is easy to make for a trip, that plus some staples to add to any foraged finds should keep you with room to shift each item around for a series of days. Also, if you can can and fully sealed your own soups they are fantastic to have along for a trip (all of this is also good to do for homesteading and garden preservation too, of course)
