It's not that I just discovered wool, but for some reason I've recently fallen in love with it and want to be wearing as much wool as possible during the cold months. Maybe it's my Scottish roots finally activating.
>>2517470I soak in cold water + a bit of white vinegar for 20-30 minutes, then I run cold water over it while gently moving it around for 5 minutes. This isn't to get stains out or anything, just to eliminate any smells and to make it softer. Drying it is a pain in the ass, but luckily you rarely need to wash wool.
