Currently using these keens for work and general wear, they are pretty great. Very comfortable, poly safety toe (I need this for work), warm and waterproof enough to get by in an urban mn winter (I broke out real winter boots only a few times) .
Disadvantages are very stiff heavy sole, they would be poor for running and hiking. I ran a 5k race on a frozen snowy lake with them, and although my feet were dry they were too heavy for my liking. They also don't breath well in the toes.
Anyone have any thoughts for steel toe hiking boots? I probably just need two different boots but I'd rather have one really good pair.
