>>1293162Eh with sunfish it can be hard to identify them since they interbreed a lot. Saying you caught 5 bluegill or sunfish works just fine, because it's easier than saying I caught 2 pumpkinseed, a long ear, a bluegill, and a greenie.
There's no excuse for bass though except MAYBE spots and largemouths.
