How do i preserve hides as a hobo? Do I need to preserve hides that are used as clothing/backpack??

So basically I'm living out of a backpack for the next 2 years. It is a large backpack, but not large enough for me to carry several kg of salt or lime or woodash AND carry tanning equipment AND the meat of the animal. I could maybe use piss to tann the hide but I would still need a shitton of lime which makes the point moot.
I'm going to be hunting and smoking the meats of many smaller animals (20-50 kg), so they weight of their smoked meat is in itself going to be a fucking burden to haul around, carrying with me tanning equipment is a nogo.
I really need your help fellas because the only thing I get when I search for "untreated hide" or "will rawhide expire if not treated" are jews trying to sell me their hides, or jews trying to sell me their fake hides because "muh killing animals are bad."
Whoever wins the thread, I can send them a kg or two of sausages if they want, IF this thread survives until the time I kill the does (1,5 months).
BONUS POINTS: What the fuck do I do with the bones? are they worth preserving? (I'm scraping of all the damn meat to make the smoking process quicker/more thorogh
