>>1168809The issue is once land is actually sold to private ownership it will likely never be returned. Even leasing the property will leave long lasting damage. Essentially the sates will get power over the land because "hurr fed uses it irresponsibly" and then just lease or sell it. Id like to see certain things protected constitutionally so it doesnt have to be at risk forever.
I also think its unlikely Trump gets the boot unless there is a major break like money laundering or he fires Mueller.

The American wilderness has been a national pride since we were trying to distinguish ourselves from the brits.
