Take it apart, cook the wood in paraffin wax, it will soak in and prevent water related problems.

Force a patina by hanging the blade into a glass with warm vinegar water.

I bought a Fällkniven DC3 for sharpening, get a DC4 instead.

Use ethanol. That is the kind that is safe to drink. Look for polish wodka which is about 97% pure.

Dilute to about 80% with water. No soot, no flames, just stable cooking. Mixture works best in a Trangia.

Fuck your cheap heet, mang. It's not even ethanol.

I took it apart and cooked the handle in parafin wax, that way the blade will slip in and out like muh dick in your mom. Smooth as silk.
