I'm from Mass but two weeks ago I was in Washington state and it was pretty fucking awesome.
I hiked about six miles down from Three Mile Beach on the Olympic Peninsula to Strawberry Point and it was off the chain. I saw maybe three people in 48 hours. I just hung out out there smoking weed, watching bald eagles and seals play, reading and making huge fires with the infinite driftwood.
Someone had rigged up a pretty nifty hammock out of some floatsam.
I'll post a few pics of this and other places I went on this trip.
