My understanding is foils aren't so good for any sort of cruising or sailing where the conditions aren't absolutely perfect. Is this true? Couldn't you make it work despite this? Or is it more of a weight issue where you won't be able to store enough resources while simultaneously being light enough to foil (in this case, don't the foils still help reduce drag at least a little)?
See pic related my latest retard design. The idea is that it barely has enough space for food/water plus one male human (approx 6') (see yellow figurine). I made it this absurd shape because I figured you could basically just strap yourself in in a tough storm and wait it out. Do you think:
-it could foil even when at capacity
-be viable for cruising without driving the victim insane
-how many days of rations could you store
comment on any other shit that looks totally insane.
