last year we went in 31 - Farm Lake and made it to the south kawishiwi before heading back, staying a couple of nights at each campsite.
This year we'll be going in 50 - Cross bay lake. the plan is to get to Long Island Lake on the first day. After that there's no plan. We'd like to do a loop, so we see as much new terrain as possible.
Pic related. planning on camping on an island the first night, and then paddling any direction from there.
I like the tomahawk idea. I brought a machete last year, but want to bring a hatchet or tomahawk this year for cutting wood.
