I released it down in the basement but I'm sure it found its way back up. They are creeby looking and you don't want to imagine one in the sheets with you but otherwise harmless and they mercilessly decimate cockroach populations so worth keeping around the house.
I now live innaland down under and embrace the humble huntsman spider and coexist with them gleefully. If you have scoots or huntsmans, you don't have roaches.
