Just caught 2 bat rays and 2 leopard sharks in the last few hours in my back yard, all pretty small,. This was the biggest one, probably 40lbs at best. Fishing on the same setup I use for tuna, some rays still snap the line/break the steel leader like it's nothing, these things are no joke, most of them either snap the line immediately, spool me, or wrap around a piling.
