>>1118474>>1118483No I'm German, I did a 40+ day solo camping trip in Sweden this summer. I walked from Mora to Östersund (took the free ferryboat across the Storsjön near Hallen). The trip was quite unorganized, the reason why i got to Bydalen was because i saw the snowy mountain tops from Klövsjö and thought it might be a fun place to explore. it was pretty cool, the most memorable things were seeing the Storsjön from the top of the mountain, using a plastic bag as a sledge to slide down the mountains and drinking lots of unfitered water from the pristine streams that run from the mountains into the Damman river. The next day i bought food at Höglekardalen and climbed a mountain called Drommen, I ate some small brown trouts I fished in a small pond on the mountain, that was pretty cool too.
it was my first camping experience, I liked it a lot and now i am planning to do a shorter trip in winter. Do you know the Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella parc near Trondheim? I am looking for a cool place to hike in January which is far north enough to see polar lights but not too far up north so that i will still have some hours of daylight to hike and set the camp.
