1. Fiskars blow, they last 3 weeks maximum when you're actually using them.
2. All these expensive fancy axes.. it's a tool. I make my own axe handles now after I find a good head I like and that's that. They last forever when you choose your own wood/grain pattern/modify the grip to your liking.
Remember, those expensive fancy axes are marketed to 55 year old mid lifers who can easily be tricked into spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on over priced tools to go out on guided tours a couple times a year.
Reality is, a well-sharpened axe head with a well-designed picked out wooden handle will do the job the tool is made to do, and it will do it well. And when it inevitably breaks, you buy or make a new one, because "expensive" wood breaks too.
