i grew up bird watching out here in nebraska. got a 2 decade old feather collection still going, all found myself during hiking or in my yard.

im partial to grackles, redwing blackbirds, and some other songbirds
i currently have a great-horned owl that nests in a pine tree on my property. usually shows up around november and begins nesting in january. my winters would not be complete without falling to sleep to the sound of her hooting every night
