>>570474you might, yes. once honey is pasturized and filterd it has basically the same chemical structure as corn searp, minus some minerals and natural impurities. sooooo, lots of honey (mostly from chiner) is filtered and then diluted with corn searp. it looks like honey, tastes pretty much like honey, and passes rudimentary tests. however, thorough tests done of US honey show that 3/4 of our honey is counterfeit with the other quarter being likey partially counterfeit. also, like many other things, china exports like 22x more honey than they produce, so you know it's all garbage and shit.
i buy my honey once a year from the Big E. plus i always gets a block of honeycomb with it which is just godly to chew on
