Update: wife coming along, so it won't be my first solo outing after all, but she's as inexperienced as me, so we'll still face the same challenges.

>>2200678Is there much more you can do beyond getting some water on it and hoping for the best? I also seem to remember that you should NOT put water on third degree burns. Guess I'll just try to be careful around the flames.

>>2200736I'm pretty used to sleeping on hard surfaces, and it's not very cold yet as you say, so I think I'll be okay. Might reconsider the matress for the next time if it's horrible.
Norway has strict rules regarding fire. This year it's been particularly dry, so they might not even let up after the 15th, sadly. I love a good fire.
A cover for the bike is absolutely not useless, as the bike is eletrical, and not really meant to be left outside at all. It also doesn't weigh much (200g at most?).
Might have a fleece beanie lying around. I'll see if I can find it. No real pillow option, but it's just for one night so I'll make do without.
>>2200740I doubt it's really viable to drag the big, bulky city bike far into the woods. I will find a hidden spot before locking them up though.
Will take out the battery before leaving them too.

Here's my package so far.
I know the big oul lamp is really heavy and doesn't serve much real purpose, but I really wanted to bring it along, since my father let me borrow it. Fired it up earlier and it burned really nicely. Since I'm not allowed to make a bonfire, it would be nice to have a little substitute live flame too.
But I also have a LED lamp and a gas cannister lamp, in addition to the torchlight, so it is kind of dumb, I suppose.
I can cut down a lot on the snacks, but I'll probably have to discuss that with my wife before tossing it out.
The ferro rod is also just for larping. I can't even use it to light anything. It doesn't way much, though.
