>>1248346>SiberiaBeen there twice, ice skating on Lake Baikal for a couple weeks. Once you get away from Listvyanka or Olkhon it's easy to see absolutely no signs of human life days on end. Went without emergency beacon the first time. Easy enough to get rescued if you have one though, it's a giant flat slab of ice after all, ridges notwithstanding. Pretty cool. Pic related.

Western Europe is going to be harder, maybe somewhere in the mountains. I hear the Picos de Europa are prime grounds for getting lost and dying.
