>>2499367The vines grew like 7 feet tall by the first frost. I had them growing alongside my indeterminate tomatoes and they didn't take over, but were all over the place, and very productive. Super delicious when they're still cold from the night.
The cucumbers themselves are tiny. Maybe like one joint of your index finger.
I think the trick with them is to keep them shaded and be 100% sure the soil never dries out too much. The roots start off very shallow and the plants are super tender for the first month or two, so it's easy to let them dry out. I also used a mini tomato cage to get them to start climbing.
I also started mine indoors in soil cubes.
