>>2216590like anon said, blues and fluke have sharp teeth. Striped bass also have abrasive sandpapery jaws, I would advise at least a 20lb flouro/mono leader. Another thing to consider it the lure weights you're casting, if you're casting anything over about 3/4 oz on 10lb flouro it's gonna dig into your fingers and you might want to use some athletic tape on your casting finger to protect it. I'd use 20lb braid and a 24" leader of 20lb mono, make sure you have wire leaders for when the blues show up. Lost my favorite pencil popper because I didn't bring any leaders, decided to wing it on 30lb flouro and got bit off after about 6 fish.
