I use Timex watches myself. They are very sturdy, both took quite a lot of beating and still no problem to report.
The one on the left is the one I take innawoods, it has a digital compass which is pretty handy, and actually works unlike many digital compasses, and has their "indiglo" feature which makes the dial lit up. Seeing as the lugs are screwed in and quite thick and tough, I replaced the wristband with a NATO one.
The one on the right is the one I take innasea, its metal wristband handles salt water a lot better, and offers the same features as the other one along with a tide tracker and a thermometer.
I prefer such watches myself, I travel quite a lot and I need watches that kinda look like shit to the average thug. They would value a Gshock over a Rolex just because of the digital screen. The innawoods watch really looks like something cheap that is shit, and none of them would even think about stealing it. Not to mention, they wouldn't even be able to remove the NATO wristband.
