Sailing here OP. Got back two weeks ago from a 3 month voyage working as a deck hand on a 28' Bristol Channel cutter. Sailed from New England to Bermuda then down to the West Indies. From there, up through the windward and leeward islands and then back to Massachussetts. Over all, an amazing trip, and the Bristol Channel cutter is an AMAZING boat; so lucky to have been on one.
The sailing was fair aside from a 4 day bout in tropical storm Melissa sailing the passage down to bequia.
Only a few more requirements to get my able seaman certification which will hopefully find me so more sailing jobs.
Any other Caribbean or South American cruisers? I wasn't really a fan of the leeward a but the windward a, especially the grenadines, were some of the coolest spots I've been in my life.
Pic related, a picture I took of our cutter, Amica, with my gopro somewhere in the North Atlantic.
