It's a desert grass that has needles forged of mithril, and WILL penetrate hiking boots made of 'breathable' fabric (the entire Solomon boot line up being an example). I worked in the bush for many years and can't stress enough how important it is to have full leather boots - I always wore zamberlan vioz GTX boots and they never let me down. See Pic related.
