We later moved spots to a clearer creek. My brother was able to land his first snake of the day, a 22" eater, on a zoom horny toad. I switched lures and put on a toad runner jr, a teckle rip off by booyah. Shortly after the switch, this 32" 9lb snake smashed it. I missed a few after due to the reel becoming unseated during hooksets. I have since laced the threads of the reel seat with plumbers tape. I can't wait to chase them again.
