>>1412875If you travel a lot, even in the states, you really should either not carry any knife or carry one that is two-hand opening and well under 4" for the blade. There's a lot of weird laws out there from state on down to individual government buildings. If there's a metal detector you have to go through then it will depend on the individuals doing the inspection as to what can't pass through and that can even depend on their mood at the time. The latter can be the same with traffic cops being absolute dicks for whatever reason.
