>>2311367That folder is pretty good as far as folders go and will serve you well, but if you plan on doing any serious work with wood or with fish/animals you'll want a decent quality fixed blade to accompany it. Folders tend to be prone to failure when abused, and the blades are limited in size.
If your budget is <$100 I'd suggest either a morakniv if your budget is super tight, or one of the smaller Grohmanns (which are made in Canada with European steel), which are top quality and will last you forever. I just bought a #4 for myself so I'm kind of in shill mode.
I wouldn't buy anything from Canadian tire, they mostly just sell Chinese junk with mystery steels. The quality of steel is very important. Chinese stuff usually doesn't hold an edge for shit, and the really bad stuff will chip and bend easily.
With that said, if you don't think you really need it, like the other anon said, save your money for something you do need. If you don't already have an axe or folding saw then get one of those first.
