I worked at a family owned dive shop and we refused to employ anybody with "Koh Tao" on their resume specifically because you knew they would kill someone eventually.

Eg. Forgot to test gear, Occy tied in a knot around waist, forgot to turn on tank, forgot weights on a boat dive, standing upright on Big Blade coral then jumps on it to break it (Fucken pissed me off that time), losing fins, Losing Mask then freaks out.
The above is just my personal experience with Koh Tao divers, Instructors and OW ticket holders.
