Brought a peppermint plant some time ago. Grows great, and I wonder if I'm doing it any justice by confining it to a pot, while it could be thriving on my apartment building's garden.
So far I've heard of various methods, such as stolons (I have a few long ones) and by roots (rhizome spreading quite easily) but will planting it in the garden outside allow it to grow?
The garden has been recently renovated a bit (some new soil and some plants - nothing too serious) and most of it is some grass that cycles between seasons.
What should I do? cut a few stolons, or cut some roots?
Will post results. I wonder if this can take out a whole garden as many sites say.
