But I was just going outside, and this robin smacked into my storm door. I gently took him out back, and wanted to set him someplace up high so he could recover for a time without being eaten. He didn't move for a while; I assume he's still stunned. So I took him inside, and I have him sitting on the open window sill so he can leave if he wants to.
Now that I look closer though, I think he might have injured his wing. What should I do now?
Update: It's been well over an hour now, and he's just sitting there. He's calmed down a lot, but hasn't gone off. I have no problem leaving my window open over night, if it'll help.
Here's a picture. It looks like his foot is hurt too.
