I've been digging up my second garden of Yukon gold potatoes with my chickens. the chickens are so accustomed to picking up the insects and slugs as I'm digging that they are becoming a bit of a problem underfoot. One actually rides the dirt clod up on the pitch fork while it eats pill bugs and beetle larva.
I haven't weighed them yet, but I think I dug about 90lbs of potatoes today.
